Came here for breakfast while on vacation! Such a sweet staff. Food portions are huge and the price is fair. Will definitely come back ! Very filling breakfast for me !

EXCELLENT and highly recommend this place. Service from the time we walked in was exceptional. The food tasted like it was made with such love. I had the chicken & dumpling special and my husband had home made soup and a chicken burger. We both were so impressed with the flavor of everything. We were so full that we took a banana cream pie home and oh my ..... tasted so good. Will definitely go back next time in Florida.

We ordered the corn nuggets, then the fried chicken with sweet potato and cole slaw, and. Red snapper with mashed potato and cole slaw. Everything was delicious!! Server was friendly and service very fast even though it was a little crowded.

All servers wonderful. Refilled water and coffee before asking. Chep Mike came our explained how the search for real veggies and food...which explauned why the tomatoes were as good as my Papa’s 50 years ago! Cobbler filled with real peaches. 4 veggies plate perfect. Coffee strong. Loved watching 3 generations of loving family run place. My wife ate here 2 years ago when grandson said "BEST chicken ever" and talked abour it so much we made another long trip to come back. Another drove couple hours. And real plates!! And no straws if requested so we had a no plastic meal! ( 500,000,000 a day used in US...(Hopefully restaurants start giving only if requested. The couple restaurants doing this I saw few straws.. ) thanks!

Absolutely love this little Dunnellon restaurant. The Front Porch is quaint, locally owned and welcoming. The food and pies absolutely delicious. We had the Southern Style Pot Roast, with field peas, fries and a slice of Cuban bread. Omg, this pot roast is one of the best I've had. The meat so tender and full of flavor, and enhanced beautifully with the vegetables and gravy. Great portions too. We also had the peach pie, and again it was delicious. Not filled with a purified sugary jelly or soggy fruit. This pie was packed with real chunky slices of sweet juicy peaches in a delicious short crust pastry. We came home with the whole pie. It was mouthwatering good. This is now one of our favorite places, and we can't wait to try more of their pie varieties. The Strawberry & Rhubarb pie is next on our list. Our server was awesome and he was so helpful and friendly. Highly Recommend.

I went to have a coffee and a refreshing drink, and the desserts were extremely delicious, the host and the server were very friendly. Although I didn’t eat any food, I could see that the dishes looked very well prepared.
